1 - Traffic signs are set out in regulations which, in accordance with the international conventions in force, specify the shapes, colors, inscriptions, symbols and dimensions, as well as their meanings and placement systems.

2 - The inscriptions on signs shall be written in Portuguese, except as provided for in international conventions.
